Bird City Cedar Hill

As a certified Bird City , Cedar Hill works with a diverse group of partners to protect and create healthier habitats for both birds and people. This community-based certification program, started by Audubon Texas and Texas Parks and Wildlife in 2018, works together with communities across Texas to help people and protect birds and their habitats.

Bird City Cedar Hill partners with Audubon TX, Dogwood Canyon Audubon Center, Cedar Hill State Park, Texas Parks and Wildlife, Dallas County Parks and Open Space, Texas Conservation Alliance, Indian Trail Master Naturalist, and more to focus on habitat enhancement and protection, community education and engagement, and creating safer spaces for birds.
