Traffic Unit

The Cedar Hill Police Traffic Unit is dedicated to the service and protection of the citizens and visitors to Cedar Hill through the active enforcement of state and local traffic laws. The motorcycle and commercial motor vehicle enforcement officers assigned to the unit are directly supervised by a sergeant.

Our goal is to reduce the number of traffic collisions and promote the safety of the motoring and pedestrian public by utilizing education and enforcement techniques. All traffic officers are certified accident investigators.
