The filing deadlines for both regular and write-in candidates have passed and the following candidate's filings have been verified and accepted:

City Council Place 3
Alan E. Sims (incumbent, unopposed)
City Council Place 5
Gregory Glover (incumbent, unopposed)
No additional candidate filings could be verified and accepted, consequently, on February 20, 2025, the City Secretary issued a Certification of Unopposed Candidates.
On February 25, 2025, the City Council took action to accept the Certification of Unopposed Candidates and issued an Order of Cancellation for the May 3, 2025 General Election.
