The Cedar Hill Fire Department is dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of our community through professional, timely, and effective emergency response services. With four strategically located fire stations and a team of 78 highly trained personnel, we provide a comprehensive range of services, including:

• Fire Suppression
• Advanced Life Support Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
• Wildland Firefighting
• Rescue Services (including vehicle extrication, high and low angle rescue, and structural technical rescue)
• Fire Prevention & Code Enforcement
• Public Education & Community Outreach
• Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Training
• Emergency Management & Disaster Mitigation

The Cedar Hill Emergency Management Division coordinates city departments to prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters, ensuring community resilience. Through planning, education, and regional partnerships, they protect lives and property. Their efforts extend beyond Cedar Hill, deploying through TIFMAS and EMTF to assist in statewide and national emergencies, including recent aid in Louisiana. The department’s ISO Class 1 rating reflects its excellence in fire protection, emergency response, and safety education.
