Jury Duty FAQ
If you are not qualified, check the appropriate box on your jury summons, sign, and date, and return to the address shown on the top of your summons. You do not need to appear. You will not receive confirmation from us unless additional information is required.

There is a metal detector at the entrance to the court building. Any item building security believes can be used as a weapon will not be allowed.
The types of cases you will hear are class C misdemeanors. Examples could be, but are not limited to: code violations, speeding tickets, public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and unrestrained animals.
Yes, jurors that are not disqualified or exempt and serve on a jury panel will receive $6.00 in cash for their service.
