[ARCHIVED] Warming Center Available

The DeSoto Parks and Recreation Center (211 E. Pleasant Run Rd.) will be open as a 24-hour warming center from Saturday, January 24, starting at 6 am through Monday, January 26 at 10 pm.

Please note the following:

 The warming center is open to communities of Cedar Hill, DeSoto, Duncanville, Lancaster, Ferris, Glenn Heights, Hutchins, Ovilla, Red Oak, Wilmer and Balch Springs

 No animals are allowed in the warming center, however, Tri-City Animal Shelter & Adoption Center will provide a heated animal trailer outside the warming center.

 No bedding or food will be provided, please plan accordingly to bring your own bedding and food.
