Due to continued icy street conditions, Waste Management will not be able to provide service in Cedar Hill on Wednesday, January 28 as originally planned. The City has been working closely with WM to ensure trash is collected as soon as conditions allow. As a result, WM has committed to picking up all trash this week. However, recycling service will be paused and will resume next week during the regular schedule. Residents are asked to hold onto recyclables until then.
All residents, regardless of route, should place their green lid trash carts at the curb no later than Thursday, January 29 by 7:00 a.m. Trash collection will start Thursday morning, beginning with Monday routes and continuing through Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday routes. Crews will make every effort to collect all trash by Saturday.
