Due to unsafe weather conditions, Special Olympics Texas has announced the 2026 Cedar Hill Polar Plunge has been canceled with an alternate event option available, and the Cedar Hill Torch Run has been postponed.
Polar Plunge registrants are encouraged to attend the Dallas Polar Plunge on Saturday, January 31. All Cedar Hill registrations will be honored, and you will still receive the incentives earned through your fundraising in support of Special Olympics Texas athletes. ❄️

🕗 Registration 8:45 a.m. | Opening Ceremonies 9:30 a.m. | Plunges begin 9:45 a.m.
Free coffee, hot chocolate, and food will be available for registrants and spectators of the Dallas event.
Details regarding the rescheduled Cedar Hill Torch Run will be shared on City channels and directly with registrants as soon as they are confirmed.
