Dallas County Health and Human Services has confirmed a West Nile Virus positive mosquito sample in Cedar Hill and will treat the impacted area (east of US-67 and south of Parkerville Rd.)
Ground spraying for the impacted area is scheduled on Thursday and Friday nights, May 23 & 24, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., depending on weather conditions. Spraying will occur only in the residential areas.
Remember to use the 4 D's to protect yourself from mosquito-borne illness:
- Use DEET repellents
- DRESS in long sleeves and pants
- DRAIN standing water
- Protect yourself during DUSK & DAWN
