Applications for a place on the City of Cedar Hill regular election ballot can be filed between January 20 and February 19, 2016.
Forms in the packet must be completed and returned by the Feb. 19 deadline.
Election day is May 7
The election for City Council positions will be held on May 7, 2016. Affected places are: Mayor, currently held by Rob Franke, who has indicated he will run for another term; Place 3, currently held by Wallace Swayze, who has indicated he will run again and Place 5, held by Steve Mason who also plans to run again.
