The deadline to file for a place on the ballot is Feb. 27 at 5 p.m. Packets are available at the City Secretary's Office on the 4th floor of the Cedar Hill Government Center at 285 Uptown Blvd.
City Council places eligible for election are Place 1 and Place 4, currently held by Jami McCain and Chris Parvin.
