Yoga at the Park
Friday, Nov. 3rd at 6pm, Cedar Hill State Park
Join us for a sunset yoga session in the park with Zula B. Wylie Public Library’s Teen Librarian, Chelsey Randel!
Take in the beautiful view of Joe Pool Lake and the Blackland Prairie while moving your body as we do some beginner level yoga on the Rec Hall patio at Cedar Hill State Park. Yoga mats will be provided, but feel free to bring your own!
Registration provides free entry to the park. If the sign-up is full, you are still welcome to come to the yoga session! Just use pay the entry fee ($7) for the state park or you can use your annual Texas State Park pass if you have one.
Thursday, Nov. 2nd at 6:30pm, Library Meeting Room
Join fellow poets and poetry lovers as we share and discuss our writing! Please plan to bring one or two poems to discuss with the group. Facilitated by Marilyn Bradford. Refreshments provided.
Landscape Needle Felting
Friday, Nov. 10th at 6pm
Come and explore the art of needle felting! Needle felting is a creative craft used to create sculptures, figures and 2D art with wool and special felting needles. During this workshop, we will be creating a landscape inspired by the beautiful views in Cedar Hill State Park.
Supplies and tools provided by Zula B. Wylie Public Library & Cedar Hill State Park.
