Public Education & Outreach
Environmental Services has developed numerous public education and outreach opportunities in an effort to increase public awareness and encourage involvement in sustaining an environmentally safe community.

Volunteer Opportunities
Keep Cedar Hill Beautiful depends on volunteers to help make Cedar Hill the cleanest, greenest, most dependable place to live, work, and play. Whether you have a few hours, a day, or able to help on a regular basis, we welcome your participation.
Environmental Internship
Environmental Services annually provides the opportunity for one local college student to participate in an intensive 15-weeks part-time summer environmental internship. The internship exposes the college student to many environmental programs such as stormwater, industrial pretreatment, air quality, hazardous waste, liquid waste, vector, abatement, construction, and more. Internship is typically posted in April as "Seasonal Environmental Technician."
