Cedar Hill, Texas is located in the southwest corner of Dallas County. The Cedar Hill Fire Department was organized in May, 1941, with eleven volunteer members. Today, fire protection and emergency medical services are provided from four fire stations by 78 fire personnel. The department responds annually to more than 5,000 alarms
The City of Cedar Hill has joined the top 2% of American communities for fire protection. ISO, an insurance industry advisory company, has upgraded the Cedar Hill Fire Department to ISO Class 2.
