The Utility Billing Office reads and maintains all water meters in the City and provides friendly and knowledgeable customer service functions.

You may make your water/sewer utility bill payment several ways:
  • The Utility Billing Office on the first floor of the Government Center accepts payments during regular office hours.
  • You may place your water/sewer utility bill in the drop boxes in front of the Government Center and the Recreation Center at any time.
  • You may make your water/sewer utility bill payment via Western Union at Wal*Mart, Kroger and Minyard's in Cedar Hill.
  • You may pay water/sewer charges online at any time.

NOTICE – When making online payments click on the “Make Payment” button one (1) time only. Even if payment confirmation is not received, each time the “Make Payment” button is selected could result in your credit/debit card being charged multiple times. You may order utilities online.

If you have a water or sewer service emergency please call 972.291.5126 during business hours. For an after hours emergency, call 972.780.6643.

If the water supply problem is between the water meter and your residence, or if you have a sewer problem within your property, you will need to call a plumber for repairs. Call the emergency number for water supply problems on the City side of the meter and for sewer problems originating beyond your property line. Water and sewer lines are maintained by the Public Works Department.

Online Payments

When you  first make an online payment you will be asked to create a log on ID and password. Once this has been done you can log on to view your water consumption history, account history as well as make credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express) payments.

Log on ID and Password: When creating a log on ID and password you will need to enter your complete name or business name and address exactly as it appears on your water bill. When you select a username it must be unique in our system and you will receive an error message if it already exists and will be asked to submit another username. Please select a password that is at least six (6) characters or more.

NTTA Toll Tags
You can set up your account and get your Toll Tag at the Ubill windows on the first floor of the Government Center during regular business hours. Bring identification and a credit card to use for your account.
