There have been 3 cases of WNV infection in Cedar Hill, no deaths.
Dallas County Health & Human Services sprayed by truck for mosquitoes in several Cedar Hill neighborhoods where collected mosquito samples tested positive for WNV in early August and on Aug. 22-23 trucks sprayed all platted neighborhoods in the city by truck on consecutive nights.

When mosquito spraying is scheduled, with cooperation between DCHHS and City of Cedar Hill officials, that information will be here on the City website and residents in affected neighborhoods will be called using the City's Blackboard Connect phone call system. If you do not have a land line please sign up to include your cell numbers in the database. Only City calls are made on the system. Your number will not be released to any outside vendors. You can easily register your number and family members' numbers at Blackboard Connect.
