Historic Downtown was once again aglow Thursday evening, December 3rd, for Old Town Holiday on the Hill, the annual tree-lighting and holiday celebration. Cool weather could not dampen the enthusiasm of last year's guests as they enjoyed musical presentations, dance performances and carolers. Santa, who arrived to help Mayor Franke light the tree, climbed into his sleigh and posed with children for free pictures. Downtown merchants provided holiday activities, specials and treats, and smart shoppers got a head start on holiday gift purchases!
Come early to see all the events. Parking is available on Main, Texas and Broad streets. |
