Try Scuba Diving (for participants 15 and older)
Have you ever wondered what it is like to breathe underwater?  Are you thinking about signing up for scuba lessons but your just not sure if scuba diving is right for you?  Try Scuba Diving will let you try scuba to see if you will like it.  During this event you will learn how to use scuba equipment in the shallow end of a pool and get a quick and easy introduction into what it takes to explore the underwater world.  There is nothing like breathing underwater for the very first time.

Fitness Requirement
All participants should be reasonably fit and comfortable in the water. Being a very strong swimmer is not required, as you will learn to use your equipment to make moving thru the water easy, fun and comfortable.

Important Note # 1
A releae must filled out by all participants prior to the start of the event.  See the Try Diving Release.

Important Note # 2
Each participant should allow for approximately 45 minutes from start to finish.  Participants will be served on a first come, first served basis, 2 participants in the pool at a time.  All required equipment will be provided.

PADI Open Water Diver Course (for participants 15 and older)
Have you ever thought about learning to scuba dive, discovering new adventures, and seeing the wondrous world beneath the waves?
This course is your entry point to the fascinating underwater world of scuba diving.  The PADI Open Water Diver course is the world's most popular scuba course, and has introduced millions of people around the globe to the fun and adventure of the diving lifestyle.  Upon successful completing of this course you will receive a PADI Open Water Diver certification card that never expires.   For more information about our class please review the Training Agreement.

Fitness Requirement
All participants should be reasonably fit and comfortable in the water.  Being a very strong swimmer is not required, as you will learn to use your equipment to make moving thru the water easy, fun and comfortable.  Before completion of the course each participant must be able to demonstrate their ability to maintain themselves in water deep to stand by completing a swim/float for 10 minutes and travel 300 yards at their own pace with mask, fins and snorkel.

Important Note # 1
All students need to fill out a medical questionnaire..  If you answer "yes" to any of the questions, a Doctors release will be required for you to participate in the class.  The Scuba Training Orientation Manual will provide this and other required forms, as well as detailed description of what to expect from the class.  Every student must fill out a Liability Release Form.

Important Note # 2
The price listed provides for all of the student academic materials and the use of "Scuba Gear", consisting of weights, tanks, buoyancy compensator and a regulator.  Students will be responsible for their own "Personal Gear", consisting of a mask, snorkel, booties, fins and a bag to carry your gear.  Booties are used to protect your feet from your fins.  This gear must be Scuba Diving Quality.  Student shall be responsible for providing for their own transportation and paying their entry fee at Clear Springs Scuba Park in Terrell, Texas.  There will be two trips and 2 entry fees of $20.00 each.   The Clear Springs Waiver Form will need to be completed before entering the facility.  If you are minor or plan on bring your child a Parent Release From must be filled out.
