Cedar Hill Independent School District is a newly-classified 6A UIL sanctioned school, serving over 8,000 students, grades Pre-K through 12.  We are comitted to excellence in atheletics as well as academics, and our superb atheletics program commands respect both on and off the field. We offer a total of 20 sports for girls and boys with facilities that serve a wide range of competitive and recreational activities..

Cedar Hill High School, located at #1 Longhorn Blvd. and U.S. Hwy 67, has a number of playing venues on campus including basketball, volleyball, football, track and field, soccer and tennis.  Our quality facilities are maintained by the district and available for non-district, tournament and organized competitive play.

Longhorn Stadium is home to the 2013 5A, Division II, Texas State High School Football Champions.  The renovated facility is owned and maintained by CHISD.  In addition to football, the stadium hosts soccer and track and field competition.

The stadium is equipped with all the amenities befitting a championship athletic program including a top quality, artificial playing field, video scorebard, state-of-the-art broadcast system and seating for 7,500.

The latest addition to CHISD Athletics is the 215,000 square foot Ninth Grade Center located at 1515 W. Belt Line Rd. in the shadow of Hill Tower.  The Center is equipped with tennis and indoor basktball courts, and practice facilities for football, soccer, track, baseball and softball.
