Old Town Vision
Old Town highlight The city is embarking on a series of planning activities designed to guide future development in the Old Town district of Cedar Hill.  Identified as one of three designated districts in the City Center Vision Plan, adopted by the City Council in March 2010, Old Town is unique in its culture, heritage and history.

The City Council appointed a committee in May 2011 to begin the process of creating a vision for Old Town and to identify the appropriate steps necessary to achieve that vision.
The Committee, comprised of the Main Street Development and Preservation Board and led by Councilmembers Cory Spillman and Wallace Swayze, will begin meeting with consultants in June to establish a vision and recommend strategies for transforming Old Town into an attractive destination.

The Committee will meet in the Government Center Multi-Purpose Room, located on the ground floor, 285 Uptown Blvd., the third Monday of each month through October.

The Steering committee has developed a preliminary vision for Historic Downtown , but would like your input before recommending the final vision statement to the City Council.  Please complete the following surveyand give us your vision for the future of Historic Downtown  Cedar Hill.
