The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) is an act passed by Congress designed to spur increased economic activity. The City of Cedar Hill, along with other U.S. cities, has applied for and is receiving federal stimulus money made possible by the ARRA. Overview:
This grant will fund the design, procurement, and installation of a traffic signal system upgrade for 12 intersections along with the development, implementation and fine-tuning of coordinated traffic signal timing plans. Included are two proposed traffic signals located at Pleasant Run Road and Duncanville Road (being designed as part of the Pleasant Run Road - Phase 4B project) and at Uptown Blvd. at the Wal-Mart driveway.
