Celebrate Juneteenth with Ms. Opal Lee

The Zula B. Wylie public Library will be hosting a community talk with the one and only, grandmother of Juneteenth herself Ms. Opal Lee. Ms. Opal Lee is widely known for her march to Washington D.C. in her many years efforts to gain national support for Juneteenth to be recognized as a federal holiday. Ms. Opal Lee will be joining us Wednesday, June 21st at 6:30 p.m. for a special Juneteenth event, and we hope you bring your families and join us for this special community program.
