Electronics Recycling and Paper Shredding

Electronics Recycling and Paper Shredding

Electronic recycling and paper shredding events take place on the same days as Household Hazardous Waste Collection Events at Cedar Hill High School's parking lot (1 Longhorn Blvd) from 9 am to noon. Registration is not required for electronic recycling and paper shredding. However, if you are also interested in the household hazardous waste event, you will need to register. Consider arriving after 10 am to help us serve you in a timely manner. For safety reasons, staff will not accept your waste until the site is completely setup. Call (972) 291-5126 or contact Duy Vu or Gregg Kidd for additional information.

CHECK THE VEHICLE LINE BEFORE YOU ARRIVE

On the morning of Environmental Collection Day, the vehicle line will be live streamed to help better serve you. Click HERE to view the live stream (Flash Player required).

On the event day, please read and follow the road signs carefully. Two vehicle lanes will be in place to ensure the safety of staff. The right vehicle lane will be dedicated to household hazardous waste. The left lane will be dedicated to electronics and paper shred.

If you only brought electronics and/or shred, keep the left lane.

If you registered for HHW, first enter the right lane to drop off your HHW then follow the road signs to re-enter the electronics and/or shred lane.
