What if the library doesn’t have the book(s) I need?
Books and materials not owned by the Zula B. Wylie Library may be available through the Interlibrary Loan process. This service is available at the Reference Desk. Interlibrary Loan is not an instant service and can take anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks (on average) to receive an item from another library. When the item you requested is received, you will be notified and have 3 days to pick up the item. There is a $1.25 postage fee applied to each item that you request.

Cedar Hill residents with a library card in good standing can be issued a TexShare card to check out books at other libraries.
