Consider arriving after 10:30 am to better serve you in a timely manner and to help avoid long vehicle lines. The electronic recycling and paper shred lines are longest from 9 am to 10:30 am though both event run through noon. Electronic recycling and paper shred does not require registration. If you have household hazardous waste (chemicals, batteries, paint, etc.), you will need to register. Registration is not required for only electronic recycling and paper shred. The collection event takes place at the Cedar Hill High School parking lot (1 Longhorn Boulevard)
On the event day, please read and follow the road signs carefully. Two vehicle lanes will be in place to ensure the safety of staff. The right vehicle lane will be dedicated to household hazardous waste. The left lane will be dedicated to electronics and paper shred.
If you registered for HHW, first enter the right lane to drop off your HHW then follow the road signs to re-enter the electronics and/or shred lane.
