Sat Feb 15 - Mar 3 - Enjoy the exhibit for the Pathways Art Show at Sly Cat Gallery.  The Pathways exhibit features eleven local artists.  The event is free to the public.  Visit the Sly Cat Gallery Tuesday through Saturday from 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm, the gallery is closed Sundays and Mondays.

Tue Feb 18 
- Join us for a guided tour Exploring Shona African Sculptures that include traditional to temporary sculptures.  The event will be held at the Shona African Sculptures in Historic Downtown and will be from 6:30pm - 7:30pm. 

Sat Feb 22 - Want to LOVE where you work?  Want your work to have MEANING? Join the Cedar Hill State Park team at their State Park Career Fair 2020.  Information sessions about applying and the hiring process as well as hiring managers will be available.  No need to bring a resume.  The event will be held at the Cedar Hill State Park from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm.  

Sat Feb 22Join us at our annual fund-raiser, the Sheri Borth Memorial Pancake Breakfast, to support the charitable activities of the Cedar Hill Lions Club. The event benefits your community through eye exams and new glasses for children in need as well as our other programs and projects. This event honors the late Lion Sheri Borth, Past President of our Club.  Event will be held from 7:30am - 11:00am at the Good Shepherd Church.  Click here to buy your $5 tickets.

Mon Feb 10 - Celebrate Black History Month at the Zula B Wylie Public Library.  Join as we will have interactive stories by master storyteller, Toni Simmons. Fun for the whole family! Light refreshments will also be served. 

Tue Feb 11 - City Council will meet in the T.W. "Turk" Cannady/Cedar Hill Room at the Government Center at 6pm.

Wed - Fri Feb 12-14 -  The Dallas Pickleball Association presents the Cedar Hill Valentine Pickleball Tournament at the Alan E. Sims Cedar Hill Recreation Center.  Pickleball is one of the nation’s fastest-growing sports, with a reported total of 3.1 million players in the U.S. (2018).

Thu Feb 13The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) invites you to the TxDOT Public Meeting -Loop 9 project.  Meeting will take place from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at the Alan E. Sims Cedar Hill Recreation Center

Sat Feb 15 - Bring the family and take part in the national Great Backyard Bird Count event at Dogwood Canyon Audubon Center.  No registration is needed for this event.  Donations are appreciated

Tue Feb 4 - Celebrate the Year of the Rat for the Chinese New Year Celebration at the Zula B Wylie Public Library.  Join as we celebrate with performances by Rising Phoenix Lion Dance Association, food, origami and more!  Free for everyone.

Thu Feb 6
Join the Cedar Hill Chamber of Commerce for the first membership luncheon of the year - the State of the City! Mayor Stephen Mason will speak on current initiatives and upcoming priorities of the City of Cedar Hill. Event will be held at 11:30am at Alan E Sims Cedar Hill Recreation Center.

Sat Feb 8
- Grab your favorite cup of jo’ and your binoculars for Coffee with the Birds.  Enjoy time looking for birds in the early morning hours with an Audubon educator. Bring your favorite reusable mug and we’ll provide the coffee.  Event will be held at Cedar Ridge Preserve.  Pre-registration required and the cost is $15. 

Sat Feb 8
- Bring the kids of all ages to real aloud to friendly, trained dogs at the Paws & Reading Tutors event.  Event will be held from 1:30pm - 2:30pm at the Zula B Wylie Public Library.
