Got a minute?

For the unforeseeable future, our This Week event section will have very different content.  In our current environment, local plans and government Coronavirus (COVID-19) operations guidelines are changing frequently, our local attractions and events are closed and events cancelled. For now, our section will contain helpful information and ideas for things to do with your family while "social" (or "physical") distancing policies are in place.

We continue to wish you and your families good health and safety as we all work through this global emergency together.

Until further notice - Cedar Hill State Park has been notified of a presumed positive case of COVID-19. Out of an abundance of caution, Texas Parks and Wildlife made the immediate decision to close Cedar Hill State Park until further notice. For updated information please visit the TPWD News & Media web page.

Those questions include: “How much is too much screen time?” and “Can screen time be beneficial in some cases?” The article provides research evidence and recommendations for best practice screen use for young children during the COVID-19 pandemic.
