The mission of the Police Department is to provide the highest quality service that promotes and maintains a safe environment in partnership with the community consistent with our values.
The Cedar Hill Police Department has implemented an online reporting tool for citizens to make certain types of police reports. This is not a replacement for 911 and citizens are encouraged to call 911 for crimes in progress or other emergency situations.
The following types of incidents may be reported online:
- Burglary of Motor Vehicle
- Criminal Mischief
- Credit Card Abuse
- Annoying or Harassing Phone Calls
- Hit and Run Accident with No Injuries
- Lost Property
- Request for Traffic Enforcement
Reports made online will be assigned for follow up within 3 business days.
