The Cedar Hill Municipal Court Clerk’s office will remain open during normal business hours. 

Customers are encouraged to pay a citation or warrant online (tpg), by phone 800-444-1187, or through the drop box located in the front of the Government Center.

Most options to resolve your citation or warrant are available online.  Please contact the court if you need assistance navigating the website or making your request online without appearing in person.

Going to Court

  • Security Screening.
  • Space is limited so we ask that you do not bring anyone with unless it is necessary.
  • If you feel that you may have COVID-19 symptoms or have been exposed to someone who is sick, please do not come to the Court.  Call or email the court for alternatives to appearing for your scheduled hearing.

Notice Vulnerable Population

Individuals who are over age 65 and individuals with serious underlying health conditions, such as high blood pressure, chronic lung disease, diabetes, obesity, asthma, and those whose immune systems are compromised such as by chemotherapy for cancer or other conditions requiring such therapy are considered to be vulnerable population and you will not be required to appear in person and will be accommodated by electronic hearings or given the option to postpone court please call or email a court representative for alternatives regarding your scheduled hearing. Overview

The Municipal Court provides citizens fair, efficient, and courteous judicial processing of citations. Municipal Court handles traffic offenses, parking citations, and non-traffic offenses relating to animal control issues and code enforcement.

After Hours Drop Boxes

You may place a check or money order for your payment in the drop box in front of the Government Center, the one inside Government Center (located at the Utility Services windows) and at the Alan Sims Recreation Center at any time. Do not place cash in any of the drop boxes. Contents of the boxes are picked up once per business day by 2 p.m. and payments made after the daily pickup will be received and posted the following business day.
