Fishing is allowed in any Cedar Hill Park unless reserved for a special event. If you are 16 years or older and wish to fish, a license is required.

Enjoy one of the City's 6 Community Parks which vary in character from Crawford Park, which is smaller and offers more passive amenities to Valley Ridge Park, which offers predominately active amenities, such as baseball, softball, soccer and football fields for both adult and youth sporting events.

Community Center Park - 1740 Mansfield RoadThis 5.1 acre community park offers 2 lighted baseball/softball fields with concessions/restrooms, a .3 mile paved trail, play structure for children 5 to 12 years old, 1 basketball court and 3 picnic tables. Also located at Community Center Park is Cedar Hill's Senior Center.

Crawford Park - 401 Straus Road
This 10.76 community park currently offers a pavilion containing 7 picnic tables (available for rental), a play structure for children 5 to 12 years old, public restrooms, 1 baseball/softball field, 2 lighted tennis courts, 3 lighted basketball courts, 2 soccer fields used primarily for practices, 3 grills and picnic tables. The park also has Cedar Hill's outdoor swimming pool (available for rental).

Parkerville Park - 501 W. Parkerville RoadThis 24.1 acre community park has 4 picnic tables, 1 grill, 5 lighted baseball/softball fields, a concession building with restroom facility and a play structure for children 5 to 12 years old.

Valley Ridge Park - 2850 Park Ridge Drive
This is a 164 acre community park located within the Lake Ridge Community that offers a 3000 sq. ft. amphitheater (available for rental) with natural bowl seating for 2,000 with 882 paved parking spaces. The park also features 4 play structures for children ages 5 to 12 years old, a stocked fishing pond with a pier and fountains, approximately 1.5 mile paved trail, 3 football fields (2 lighted), 18 soccer fields (5 lighted), 4 lighted softball fields, 6 lighted baseball fields and 4 concession buildings with restrooms.
Virginia Weaver Park - 631 Somerset Drive
This 27.64 acre community park offers one basketball half court with 1 basket, one creative playground for children 5-12 years old, one lighted pavilion (available for rental) with electrical outlets containing 7 tables, one party grill, public restrooms and paved trail approximately 0.3 miles and Virginia Weaver Softball Complex. There is also a trail head for Red Oak Creek Trail
Bear Creek Park - 620 Midlake DriveThis is an undeveloped neighborhood park, containing approximately 5 acres.
Bradford Park - 401 W. Wintergreen RoadThis 5.6 acre park is located within the High Point Public Improvement District and features a 27 x 27 lighted gazebo, with electrical outlets (available for rental), fishing pond with fountain, four grills, open play area, half mile paved trail, and a wishing well.

Approximately 10 acres, this neighborhood park offers 1 unlit pavilion with 2 picnic tables, open play area, play structure for children 5 to 12 years old, a .5 mils paved walking trail, a practice field with backstop and a basketball court.
