COVID-19 vaccines candidates have been authorized and recommended for use in the U.S. to prevent COVID-19. Find more information from the Centers of Disease Control  & Prevention (CDC) on the vaccine here.

Residents can register for the vaccine through Dallas County Health & Human Services here. Registrants will be notified when vaccine is available to make an appointment. Dallas County has opened a vaccination site at Fair Park for these appointments and is exploring other options in the area for vaccine clinics. You MUST have an appointment to receive a vaccine at this site.

Vaccine supply remains limited, and providers are working to get priority groups like front-line health care workers and nursing home residents vaccinated. People 65 years of age or older or those with chronic medical conditions are also eligible to receive the vaccine, depending on local availability.
