Have you ever been curious to know about your family history but weren't sure where to start? At Cedar Hill’s Zula B. Wylie Public Library, staff are ready to assist you with all kinds of research and have many resources specifically for you genealogy quest.

The library serves as the meeting place of the Cedar Hill Genealogical Society (CHGS) whose mission is to provide education and training in genealogical research. 

CHGS features a variety of meetings, programs,and guest speakers focusing on genealogical research, the dates of which can be found on the library website. Additionally, CHGS hosts genealogy labs every first Saturday of the month, or you can request personal lab assistance via email.
