Cedar Crest

Along a scenic ridge at the far south end of the city is the up and coming Cedar Crest neighborhood. Bound on the west by South Cedar Hill Road and east by Red Oak Creek, this growing community is currently home to over 400 families. Early development began in 1998, followed by additional tracts in 2009. When all phases of construction are complete the subdivision will include 655 homesites, many situated atop the wooded crest and along creek tributaries that run throughout the area. Residents enjoy the adjacent Liberty Park and are within easy walking distance of Dot Thomas Park.
