Ghosts, goblins and ghouls
invaded historic downtown for Scare on the Square
Thursday, October 31, 2015
2 pm- 5 pm
Historic Downtown 600 Cedar St.
Historic downtown once again played host to a spooky good time when Cedar Hill Main Street and the Zula B. Wylie Public Library presented Scare on the Square, Thursday, October 30, 2014. Aphoto album and video of the event are available online.
The frightful fun began at 6:30 p.m. with photo ops in Historic Downtown's Pioneer Park followed by creepy tales performed by master storytellers from the Zula B. Wylie Public Library. A costume parade concluded the activities in the park then goblins and ghouls trick-or-treated with participating downtown area merchants.
Admission to the festival is always free to children accompanied by a parent or guardian. Guests are encouraged to arrive on time for the storytelling. If you have questions regarding the event contact Patty Bushart at 972.291.5100, ext. 1084, or Theresa Brooks at 972.291.7323.
Join us again this year when Scare on the Square returns Thursday, October 31, 2015.
Please thank these participating merchants with your patronage:
