Cedar Hill celebrating 78 years of Country Day on the Hill

Fun and excitement abound each year on the 2nd Saturday of October when Cedar Hill celebrates Country Day on the Hill. 2014 marked the 77th annual event that featured a parade, the FUMC 5K Mission 5K Fun Run, over 100 craft vendors, food, activities, contests and live entertainment on 3 stages through the entire day. The fun begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 6 p.m.
And don't forget the Old Settlers' Reunion each year on Friday before Country Day. The beans and cornbread dinner is $7 for adults and $4 for children with proceeds benefitting local charities. Bingo is also included with prizes galore.
Vendor applications for 2015 will be available online in May, and early bird discount is September 1. After that date full rates apply. An additional fee is required for electrical service. For more information contact the Friends of Country Day at 972.291.3848, or visit their website.
